Operations and maintenance of the Plant is undertaken under terms of a twenty- three year O&M Agreement with ITM O&M Co., a company formed specifically by International Power and the Tokyo Electric Power Company for this purpose.

ITM O&M Co. is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the UAN Plant, which incorporates the operation of the Existing Assets from the Closing Date. ITM O&M Co has continued to perform operations and maintenance activities for the Existing Plant in line with the project agreements up to present.

In relation to the UAN Plant Extension, General Electric International Inc. will perform the maintenance of the new gas turbines under a contract with ITM O&M Co.
